Top Tips From a Beauty Vlogger, On Doing Beauty The Simple Way

May 30, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

I have been living in Scottsdale for around 6 months now and whilst we have managed to find our way around, the one thing that I haven’t had much luck with is finding a great beauty clinic. Back home in Florida I stumbled upon the Sono Bello reviews and decided that it would be the place for me, but out here I haven’t had much luck. I was however, lucky enough to meet Dani, our neighbor who is actually a beauty vlogger. I didn’t think much when she told me but her reviews and the comments on her channel are into the thousands, clearly knows what he’s doing. She has given me some really helpful tips on keeping beauty simple, and I’ll share her thoughts with you all here.

Getting 8 Hours

Dani tells me that the best thing which we can do from a beauty perspective is to ensure that we get at least 8 hours of sleep every night. Sleeping is when we give our body and mind the chance to rest, process and recuperate, and falling to get enough sleep can have a very negative impact on your skin, pores, eyes, hair and nails.

Drinking Water

If there is one thing that I have learned most from spending time with Dani it is the importance of drinking at least 2 – 3 liters of water per day. Water is who the body is hydrated and once it is sufficiently hydrated, the skin will look clean, full and very healthy indeed. A great tip which Dani showed me was to download an app which reminds you to drink more water throughout the day.

Nightly Routine

Surprisingly Dani, despite her role as a vlogger, doesn’t use the any kind of magic serum or potion on her face, but keeps it simple with a high PH cleanser, a soft toner and then a low PH moisturizer. The secret she says, is that you must have a great nightly routine whereby you wash, tone and moisturize before bed. Dani actually has an alarm set on her phone at 10pm, that will remind her to carry out her nightly routine. I used to simply put some cream on every now and gain but Dani mentions that doing this is a complete waste as your skin will never feel the benefits. She says doing this every night will have real results, and she was absolutely right.

Diet

Finally Dani really won me over in terms of the diet, and her basic rule of thumb is that it will look on your skin the same as it does in your hand. What she means by this is that if you have a big greasy burger or fries, it will end up making your skin look greasy, if you have a fresh apple, your skin will resemble that cleanliness too. I like this rule and I generally use it most days.

As Dani always says, beauty is simple, you just need to keep it that way.

Best Gear To Bring With You When RVing In Oklahoma

May 22, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

There are a lot of things you have to remember to bring with you when you go on vacation. You have to make sure you bring along clothing that’s appropriate for the weather, toiletries, things to keep the kids entertained, and more. You’ve got even more to remember if you’re renting an RV!

When you rent an RV, the sky is the limit when it comes to bringing stuff with you. Other vacations require you to leave your gear at home and rent it when you get there. With an RV, you can bring it all with you which will save you money, but it will also ensure you enjoy every moment of your vacation.

The question is, exactly what should you bring along for a vacation in the state of Oklahoma? Here are some of the best gear ideas so your family can get the most out of your vacation.

A Good Pair of Walking Shoes

A comfortable pair of walking shoes is a good idea no matter what kind of vacation you’re taking, but they are absolutely essential if you’re planning an RV vacation.

If you stay in a park, you and your family will be spending plenty of time on the trails, and a good pair of shoes can go a long way towards protecting your feet. If instead you decide to park the RV in the city, you’ll be hitting the pavement, and walking shoes are equally as important. Don’t leave them behind!

Bicycles

A bike is one of the handiest things to have with you when you go on vacation. Unfortunately, most vacations don’t allow you to take your bike with you. Instead, you’re forced to spend money renting a bicycle when you get to your destination.

There’s no need to rent a bike when you drive an RV! Not only will bringing your bike help you save money, it enables you to bring the bike you’re most comfortable with. That’s important if you spent a lot of money on comfortable all-purpose bikes for the whole family.

Canoes and Kayaks

There is no shortage of lakes in Oklahoma. From the massive Eufaula Lake that is nearly 160 square miles to smaller lakes like Lake Murray and Lake Hefner, there are plenty of watery areas to explore. Why not do it in a canoe or a kayak!

Not all natural areas allow you to rent kayaks, so bringing your own along is a great way to do a little exploring off the beaten path. If you’re particularly adept at canoeing and kayaking, you can even hit some of the lakes and streams in Oklahoma.

Fishing Gear

It isn’t uncommon for vacationers to come across a lake or a pond and wish they had their fishing gear. A traditional vacation that requires taking a plane or a car usually means leaving all that fishing gear behind. You don’t have to when you drive an RV!

While some of the family is out on the lake in a canoe, you can stick to the shore and do a little fishing. A few of the best fishing spots in the state include:

  • Lake Texoma is a great place to catch catfish and largemouth bass
  • Flint Creek is a gorgeous stream that’s perfect for catching smallies
  • Deep Fork River is a great place to catch catfish from your kayak
  • Grand Lake is the perfect spot for crappie fishermen

The Right Cooking Tools

When most people think of gear, they spend all their time thinking about outdoor adventure gear. It’s true that you can pack tons of adventure gear in your RV, but don’t forget the most essential gear of all—cooking tools!

There are a lot of great kitchen tools out there. Your job is to figure out which ones are best in the RV. They include a(n):

  • Induction cooktop
  • Hand blender
  • Instant pot
  • Collapsible colander

Don’t forget to bring along the kind of cooking tools that work well outside. Marshmallow sticks, sandwich grills, and a cast iron pan are all great choices.

And don’t forget the aluminum foil! It can make cooking meals in the fire quick and easy, but it can also sharpen scissors, it can be molded into a funnel, and much more!

One of the great things about vacationing in an RV is that you can bring nearly anything you can imagine with you. Make sure you have all the gear you need to fully enjoy spending time with your family by bringing these items along.

The Best Investments Of 2018 Revealed

April 15, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

Instead of placing all of your disposable income into a long-term savings account, it’s well worth using some of your well earned disposable income to invest in your financial future. As the potential benefits of the 3 great investment opportunities listed below are far greater than the projected benefits of saving your income in a long-term savings account. Especially as in recent years, banks have begun to offer laughably low-interest rates of around 2%.

The Best Investments of 2018 Revealed:

1. Cryptocurrencies

If you’re looking to invest a small proportion of your disposable income into lucrative investment opportunities which boast uncommonly high projected return on investments, you may be interested in investing in cryptocurrencies, which are also known as digital currencies.

Apart from their projected high ROI rates, why are cryptocurrencies such a great investment? Digital currencies meet a growing demand from international consumers to be able to have greater control over their funds, without having their financial information shared with government organizations or banks.

Another reason why digital currencies are projected to continue to increase in share price is that they can be used in a wide variety of countries, whereas most currencies are limited to use in a small number of countries. Which makes cryptocurrencies, a popular choice for consumers in an increasingly global society.

2. Property investment

Regardless of the current property market, investing in property remains one of the wisest ways to invest your money. If you’re interested there are two different investment strategies which you may want to implement, you may choose to purchase inexpensive properties which you plan to renovate and sell for a quick profit. Or you may be more keen to purchase property which you plan to hold on to for the foreseeable future, in the hopes of one day selling your property for a significant profit.

If you choose the latter option, of holding on to your investment properties, you may want to consider renting your property out in the meantime, in order to bring in a decent amount of passive income.

3. Gold and silver

If you don’t want to commit to investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into a property and would prefer to invest in tangible items rather than theoretical items such as cryptocurrencies you may want to consider investing a portion of your disposable income into purchasing gold and silver stocks. As both gold and silver are non-renewable resources which will only increase in value in the long term and are a relatively safe investment option which you can trust in.

As both gold and silver share prices fluctuate slightly but remain on the rise in the long term, it’s well worth watching gold and silver share prices over a month to learn how to identify when it’s the best time to invest your hard earned money in purchasing gold and silver stocks. As ideally, you want to purchase your gold and silver stocks when their share price is as low as possible!

So if you’ve made the brave decision to try and invest some of your disposable income, in the hopes of making a reasonable return on investment, it’s definitely well worth investing in all 3 of the lucrative investment opportunities listed above!

How To Save Money: 4 Smart Ways To Save Money

April 14, 2018 by Josh Leave a Comment

If you’re sick of spending all of your disposable income and failing to save a proportion of your income, simply continue reading to discover 4 smart ways to save money on a weekly basis.

How to Save Money: 4 Smart Ways to Save Money

1. Carry around cash, instead of using debit cards and credit cards

One way to ensure that you stick to your budget is to withdraw cash, for each event that you attend, to avoid overspending. As an example, if you head out on a shopping trip, it pays to withdraw your budget for the day in cash, so that you know exactly how much money you have to spend.

If you have reason to believe that you’ll still be tempted to use a card to purchase additional items, once you’ve spent your allocated budget, it’s well worth leaving your credit cards at home.

2. Always be on the lookout for special deals

Instead of paying full price for items, make a habit out of searching for sales and special deals. As an example, you may be stock up on essential, non-perishable items at your local grocery store when they are on sale or you may want to purchase a new television during a 30% off sale. You may even find that you can score half-price tickets to the movies, on a pre-determined day of the week.

If you try to avoid paying full price for items, you should find that you’re able to save hundreds or even thousands of dollars each year.

3. Don’t be put off purchasing generic branded items

If you have a habit of purchasing items, you may want to consider switching to purchasing generic items, which often offer the same level of quality as branded items at a fraction of the price. As examples, you may be interested in buying a generic branded washing machine or a generic branded box of cereal.

By switching to purchasing generic branded items, you should be able to save yourself thousands of dollars per year. Which will help keep your bank account’s balance healthy!

4. Don’t be too proud to purchase pre-loved items

While there may be a little bit of a stigma surrounding purchasing pre-loved items, you can often find high-quality pre-loved items, which are in near new condition, for a fraction of the price which you’d expect to pay in store. So if you’d rather purchase high-quality items over cheap items, which are likely to wear out or break down within a couple of months, it’s well worth exploring yard sales, online auctions and thrift stores for bargains.

As examples, you may be able to pick up a solid wood writing desk for $100 for your home office or a designer coat for under $50. You just never know, what you may be able to pick up.

So if you’re keen to save thousands of dollars per year, in order to save for your financial future, it’s well worth implementing all four of the proven money saving ideas which are listed above.
